I'm the taxman

The Taxation lot have done a good job on the Fifth Beatle, here. I have to confess I didn't know much about 1960s tax rules.

I'm more familiar with the song 'I'm the taxman'. My questions for you today are: is it the most famous song about tax ever, and are there any better ones?

And does Dave Hartnett play it to himself when he's feeling down?

Alex,
Thanks very much for the mentions of the Taxation blog.
Here's a similarly song-related entry of ours:

And no, there's nothing more famous that The Beatles' "Taxman" - although "Sunny Afternoon" by The Kinks is a good second.
