Let's punch the taxman, says HMRC 'website'

I think the phrase 'disgruntled lemmings' could become a convenient shorthand for HMRC staff from now on.

I particularly like the idea of punchbags in the shape of HMRC executive committee members. I think there are some members of the tax profession who wouldn't mind some of those too.

The Tories found this out through cached web pages. I found a few cached pages myself. The site only had about 140 active users, at least one of whom described their interests as including drugs. I gather from another site (working tax credit customers) that many of the posts focused on attacking (verbally) clients. Bes of all is one employee's description of the jobof chairman: 'It's not that hard a job, just making up stupid ideas and throwing millions of pounds of our money at it, then maintain it works despite the evidence.' Shame it's down really. Sounds highly readable.
